Every item in inventory has over 100 pieces of information stored with it. On the first page you have all the basic information about an item such as the name (which will be printed on receipts), a description (which will display for customers and more information for employees), the bar code and order numbers, the different departments, categories and other groups in belongs to and all the cost & pricing information. You can set prices for a single or multiple purchases or over limit pricing. A sale on the item can be automatically started and stopped. You can link it to another item that would get sold/deducted with the sale of this item (i.e. free pop/ice with the purchase).
